seriously, tania, i hope you arrived safely with extra luggage and all?
i finally handed in my thesis - voila. i was carrying it in my arms like a baby and stepping into the lift (on the way to deliver it to adeline) and in the lift were this couple and it took all my might NOT to announce to them that "this is my thesis" . it was as if i was holding my new born! all over my face, the joy.
its been worth it.
so now i'm thinking, dana, you might just be on something of a roll. last year this time, i finished the commissioned book. this year i finished the thesis. looks like next year is the year i deliver my opus! step aside ang lee. step aside john berger!. i'm reading berger's novel, G. and starting on mine--the day after i handed in the thesis. shit, i wasnt going to announce this for fear of it getting jinx. alrite, foreget that i said it!
is it impolite to write so much about myself in your guest book? i just wana give you news and hope that you will send yours.
